Reservation Genie is a FREE website that allows you to make quick reservations at area venues (restaurants and activities). The website tracks how often you visit your favorite businesses and offers incentives to frequent patrons by giving them VIP status at participating venues. Using Reservation Genie allows you to edit and cancel reservations easily 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Some venues also offer perks to come in early.

How Does Reservation Genie Work?

After you register with Reservation Genie you can login and book reservations at any time. Simply visit your Make Reservation Screen and select a venue, date, and party size to see what times are available. If the time is available, book it and wait for confirmation. Most venues use an auto confirm feature that automatically confirms reservations, so the process generally takes less than 60 seconds. You will receive confirmation notification via email and have the option to receive additional notification via text message.

What Are Perks And How Do They Work?

Venues may attach an incentive, or perk, to any time on any particular day. This allows them to promote specials and encourage traffic on a daily and hourly basis. To view the venue perks and available times for today, simply click on the Venues link to see a summary of all venues and their perks for that day. During the booking process, perks are also displayed next to the time slots for which they are offered. Venues may also offer VIP Perks to frequent customers.

What Is VIP Status And How Is It Determined?

Some venues use Reservation Genie to give VIP status to frequent customers. Every time you book a reservation through Reservation Genie you earn 50 points for the reservation and 10 additional points for each person booked. If you earn 200 points at a participating venue in a particular month, you become VIP for that month and the following month. VIPs get access to discounts of 10% - 20% off the check and short notice reservations. To maintain VIP status simply earn 200 points every month. Not all venues offer VIP status.

What If I Need To Cancel My Reservation?

If you can not honor your reservation all you have to do is cancel using the cancel icon next to the reservation on your My Reservations summary screen. You may also cancel by phone. The venue phone number is included in the text message confirmations for mobile convenience.

What If I Need To Edit My Reservation?

If you need to change the time or party size, you can edit reservations at any time using the edit icon also available from your My Reservations summary screen. While editing reservations, you are subject to the venue's reservation lead time (required notice) as well as their remaining inventory both of which may have changed since the original reservation was made and thus change what times are available.
