I stopped in at this new establishment on the spur of the moment on the afternoon of Thursday, 24 September to grab a pizza before heading back to the office. I ordered a Macellaio pizza which is topped with tomato sauce, fresh homemade mozzarella, sweet Italian sausage, and red onions. The service was attentive and the pizza was delicious. I was in and out relatively quickly although had I had more time, I would have enjoyed lingering as the ambiance was inviting.

Absolutely loved the dinner I had here tonight. I had with their specialty Cosmo, which was delicious. To start, my friends and I decided to get the eggplant and tomato bruschetta, both of which were delicious. Then, I got the truffle pizza, which was absolutely amazing. All of the ingredients tasted super fresh, and the pizza crust was baked fresh. It was absolutely divine. For dessert, I got the hazelnut gelato, which was delicious. This is a great addition to the upper east side!

Short review - loved it. Now for the long one... Came here in August, perfect evening for those awesome swing open floor to ceiling windows to have been open letting in a nice refreshing breeze. Interior is light, and unobtrusive. Subway type white tile, hardwood tables comfy padded benches, and a beautiful wood stove. Drink selection is perfect, and the couple of cocktails I had were well made, not too sweet (killer for me) and not obnoxiously alcoholic (killer number 2 for me). Pasta selection you will get lost in, they have probably every kind I've seen/heard (and not seen, not heard) while the kind I got was superb. Salad appetizer was fun and fresh, and the fish I ordered for main course was delicious. Left happy and do recommend. Prices - very decent, portions - medium to large, atmosphere - chill. A+

Was in the mood for Italian food and decided to check out Il Valentino Osteria. The staff was very friendly and provided a great environment. The bread is fresh and right out of the oven. I enjoyed the Truffle pizza and the Pasta Nera con Gamberi e Asparagi. For dessert, I had the fig ice cream which I could not stop eating.

This is a new place, I went while the restaurant was still in previews- if the food was what is produced when they are practicing, I cant wait to go back when they are trying to impress. I recommend the truffle pizza and duck dish- to complete the meal you must get the "dark and stormy" cocktail

Malloredus semolina pasta with lamb ragu completely outstanding and unusual pasta, accompanied by a glass of Barolo (may I add it was only $65 the bottle). Finished dinner with a delicious Napoleon pastry. Overall a fantastic experience.

Some time ago I went to four cuts steakhouse, which is next to this Tuscan eatery. Since then I was already interested in going here once, but didn’t had the motivation to do so. I finally went to visit the place for a lunch, which wasn’t disappointing. Initially I was supposed to have one course, and call it a meal. Yet once the menu was displayed in front of me this idea quickly vanished. I ended up ordering a 3-course lunch over a span of almost 2 hours. I started out with the bruschetta, following up by a Nova Scotia sandwich and to finish it of I had the crème Brule. The staff was quick in response, and there was never a moment where you had to wait for either your food or your drinks. The Nova Scotia was for my taste a bit too much covered with cream cheese, which kind of swept away the taste of the salmon, but furthermore the food lived up to all the expectations. Luckily the bruschetta and the crème Brule made up for the sandwich, which were one of the best I’ve had so far. For the price they’ve set for their food and service Il Valentino is definitely something that I would recommend.

Came here with my family, 4 adults and 2 kids. This place is very kids friendly. Service was outstanding so was the food. Could not have asked for more.

The food was fresh and the presentation was great. I had Agnello BRASATO (braised lamb with uinoa and Turkish figs). It was unbelivabaly delicious. Our waiter recommended to pair it with anextraordinary Pinot Noar from the Klaus Lentsch winery. What a beautiful combination. Thank you. Thank you all for the great experience.

This was the first time that I came here, for sure I will come back. One of the most surprising qualities of this restaurant is the speed of its service. The quality of the food is amazing as well. I took a pizza al prosciutto crudo to taste the flavor of the original parma's ham, a thing that I tried many times in my life in Italy, but that's not so common here in America. The ham was exactly the same as I expected to be, and the pizza was a real Italian pizza. I was totally satisfied, but I couldn't resist to the temptation to taste the dessert. I took a chocolate mousse and it was delicious! I definitely recommend this restaurant

Restaurateur Mirso Lekic and Dan Sehic of C3D Architecture renovated space that is a delightfully casual and open place to dine that is also handicap accessible. A highlight of the dining room is the open brick oven and the yummy smells that come from the fresh pizza crusts baking in the high heat sending out an aroma that delicious on a cold winter evening.

I went on New Year's Day for a late breakfast/early brunch (10AM). It was dead, but we loved it. The food was very good. The drinks (Bloody Mary) was only alright, though.

Stopped in at 9:15 on a Monday night. Wasn’t sure if they were still open because there were no customers. I was welcomed with open arms! The manager introduced himself, all of the staff were very polite, attentive, and service was great. The food was delicious as well, and they packed my leftovers so that I could put then in my backpack. The only negatives would be the tomato sauce was a little salty, and the white wine could have been chilled a little more. Overall a great meal. Will definitely be back!

Food was good. The service needs improvement. Wait staff was nice, but not very professional.

Nice food with good service

Food was good but some ingredients from my dish were missing even though they were described as being part of the dish on the menu, portions weren't very hearty but overall a tasty meal. The staff was very nice though a bit zealous to take our plates even though there was only one other table seated. No wime list, so if you want a bottle they'll tell you what they have without providing prices.
