My 1st review ever! bcuz we had such a delightful dinner here - we had the best waitress ever - Gianni! Absolutely lovely, professional and friendly. And the food and drinks were delicious. It was such an impressive evening. And such a cute restaurant. Great crowd... It was all good. Thank you Shadmoor. We look forward to more!
Been having a craving for oysters for the first time in a few years and the hunt was on. Stumbled upon the Shadmoor and tried it out... Loved it had to order more because the oysters were better than I remembered. Service a little slow but the food was worth it!( Only reason not 5)
Delicious oysters and perfect atmosphere. Very kind stuff. Best place to eat and enjoy your time in NYC. Thanks for this experience.
We all really wanted to like it, but one thing went wrong after another. We asked for everything to come out in the order in which it would be ready. Salads could come out first, since they don’t have to be cooked. We also asked for the kid’s meal to be prioritized. Instead, nothing came out until everything came out. And some of the hot food was like warm, as if it had been waiting somewhere for a while. The kid’s meal came out last. We waited about 50 minutes for any food to come out. Then there were strange things like someone coming over with more coffee, but walking away after refilling only one person’s cup. The food was ok. One of the omelets was a strange pale color as if it consisted mostly of egg whites, though that wasn’t the description on the menu. It didn’t quite taste right either. Zucchini pancakes were not quite what I expected either, I guess a different recipe. Seafood salad was not bad, but had exactly 1 shrimp. Fries were decent, though inconsistent— some were dry and hard, others good. Salmon burger was ok, but would have been better if it were warmer. Eggs Benedict didn’t receive any complaints. Overall, we were disappointed. The saving grace was that the waiter seemed to genuinely care that things went wrong, asked us about it, and got us two desserts on the house to make up for it. That was a nice touch.
I’ve only popped in here during brunch for a drink. I was really in the mood for mussels and they didn’t really have any seafood on their brunch menu. I live close by so I’ll have to come back so that I can actually try the food. It’s a lovely place, super cool bathroom, and is always a popular place.
The place has a cute cozy vibe. They served this bread with olive oil with our drinks and it was delicious. The drink I got was okay. It was like a watermelon cocktail; it was a little bit too strong for my liking.

Three eggs omelette: with tomato's, olives and feta cheese is fantastic. The eggs are cooked perfectly and the addition of ingredients are not overbearing. Five of five stars. Country style sausage: cooked well, however sausage is a bit salty. Overall, four of five stars. Hand cut french fries: well seasoned, not too salty. French fries are cut thin, which is somehow a good thing. Overall, five of five stars. Pinot Grigio: a good year but relatively new and not aged as a good white should be, served chilled as it should be. Overall, four of five stars.
Wonderful oysters and great cocktails. There is a very good outdoor space for a lovely happy hour or dinner visit.

Our lunch was great—everything was excellent. Enjoyed the specialty lemonade cocktail. Loved the crab cake appetizer. The salmon burger and angus brisket were perfect, and the profiteroles were to die for! Great service, highly recommended. We will definitely be back!!
