This is one of the absolute coolest things to do in Austin! My group went on the Midnight Cruise and it was genuinely some of the most fun we’ve ever had. The ticket prices are extremely fair and the employees were great!! I definitely recommend it!!
The bat cruise was one of my favorite things we did while in Austin. I knew nothing go in, so there was a lot to learn. I had a blast. Sharon did a wonderful job leading the tour. Great views of Downtown Austin, and even better views of the bats coming out to eat. Super affordable. Check it out if you are in town.
Came as a group of 3 for the Sunset Bat Watching cruise. We arrived about half hour before departure and got seats together. I've seen the bats from the riverwalk but the experience is completely different from the river. Our guide was very entertaining and we appreciated the small history tour before settling in for the bat show. The bats were very active that night and it made for an incredible one of a kind experience. Totally recommend

I embark on the bat cruise EVERY year (sometimes twice a year), for about the last 10 years, and it never disappoints!! I love to take my family and out of town relatives and friends. This is a MUST for anyone visiting Austin for the first time! The captain is always funny, and usually I know the material but this time Captain Stephanie had new information and witty comments I hadn't previously heard, which was enlightening!
This tour was nice. It was hot so be prepared for that. The tour guide was very informative and funny. It’s also BYOB and they also sell refreshments like soda and water as well. Would definitely recommend.
My husband and I planned a trip to Austin and I accidentally booked the wrong cruise time for this tour. I contacted them about this and they immediately changed my reservation to the right time. This was awesome! Then unfortunately right as we were leaving for our Texas trip we found out one of our family members had very little time to live. I understood the company’s policy on cancellation but decided to ask them for a refund just out of curiosity, and they were so incredibly nice and understanding and gave me a full refund. I appreciate this company so much and we will be going on this tour once we reschedule our trip!
Really nice time and not very pricey. We went on the siteseeing afternoon cruise. The captain was wonderful with lots of great facts to share. I would absolutely come back and do a longer tour or try the sunset or bat cruise.
Taking a boat tour to see the bats at Congress Bridge was the best idea. I’m handicapped and realized that walking across the bridge or walking to the park wasn’t an option. We were able to have front roll seats. It was amazing! It helps that I love bats.

We went on this cruise to see Austin and the 1.5 million strong bat colony under Congress Bridge. It was beautiful, exciting, and fun. The tour guides were knowledgable and made the trip entertaining. The city was beautiful at night and the water calming. Tickets were not too expensive to reserve ($13 a person for adults), and parking was free. It was a very unique experience.
