This was my first time, and I loved it! Very easy process and short walk distance from the river. We did go towards the end of the day, and the person in charge was "pushy" about the time we had to be back. Mentioned it over and over, which kinda takes the fun out of the experience, so plan accordingly! Guys in decks are amazing! Easy going and very helpful! Views and vibes are awesome!
The entire staff at Live Love Paddle was amazing. Our tour guide Haka (I’m sorry for butchering your name) was such a kind fun soul who knew a lot about bats and she was a great tour guide. We highly recommend as a fun activity in Austin! Thank y’all for the great time :)
This place is an amazing place. They are a small business and thriving. If you are looking to some personal home feeling’s definitely come here. Our guide Heikaya (apologies if name is misspelled),the owner Casey and the dock guys are so friendly. They truly want you to have the best time. A must come place to check out in Austin, Tx.
10/10 ALL THE STARS, if you’re looking for a place to paddle board/kayak for the first time or anytime for that matter this is it! we had never paddled before and we chose to come here randomly, $25 for an hour, the staff was the nicest group of people we have probably ever met, we had a blast laughing with them at the dock and overall, photo opps are endless and beautiful, so much so we’re returning again tomorrow to paddle again. i have never had such a blast doing something in this city. i’m certain some people are apprehensive because it is riverside but it is less crowded, cleaner, and just overall a nicer area to paddle and not feel suffocated. there’s a parking garage to park your car while you’re out which you don’t have to pay for, 10/10 would do again. thank you to everyone there, we brought a friend from out of town and she is in love with the city because of it! ♥️
We rented double kayaks for $25/hr ($18 for singles) They have some reserved parking spots on the back side of the building. Staff on the dock were friendly and helpful. No public restrooms, you’ll need to use the public restroom from the public park near the dock, which isn’t clean.
Great experience! The tour was super informative and the guide (Dan I think?) was awesome. They give a brief kayak lesson before sending you off to the bridge. I knew nothing about the bats here in Austin before the tour yesterday and learned a lot! Very cool to see them from the kayaks. Would recommend this tour. Worth the $55 per person. On the water for about 2-2.5 hours.
Great kayak tour of the bats taking off in the evening. Dan, our guide, was very funny and very knowledgeable about bat and Austin trivia. From start to finish they took great care of all of us and made the experience really clear and enjoyable I highly recommend it. The view of the city skyline and the bridges from the water is beautiful.
The evening bar tour was the highlight of our date night to Austin. I as looking for a summer fun idea without being fried in the heat, and this was it. Dan the man and Ryan were great guides who provided a ton of insight pertaining to the history of the bats but also small tidbits about Austin. Highly recommend this for anyone who enjoys being on the water and seeing the circle of life!
Our tour guide, Dan, was fantastic. He taught us more about bats than we ever cared to know, but are happy we know now. I’ve since read all my mascara ingredients to see if they have guano in them. The water was lovely, seeing the bats was great but we really enjoyed the tour. Even if you have seen the bats, you should take the tour with this place.

Did the kayak tour for the bats some years ago, one of the best things I've done. The guide was very informative. Highly recommend
