Karibu Ethiopian Restaurant

Karibu is Austin’s newest Ethiopian restaurant serving authentic food with a full bar. The word Karibu comes from the Swahili language and means “welcome”. At Karibu, you can enjoy live entertainment, great food, organic coffee, free wireless internet and cold drinks.

I got the combination lunch special which came with a salad (excellent dressing, uninspired greens), chicken (Doro Alicia), beef (Kay Wot), and choice of three veggie dishes. The beef was absolutely outstanding, and definitely my favorite part of the whole meal. Just spicy enough: I devoured it.
