Carmelo's Ristorante

Carmelo’s Italian Ristorante has been in Austin since 1985. They continue to excel in quality, service, and ambiance. They really deliver an authentic Italian experience complete with Renaissance style pictures of Italian beach communities on the walls and an accordion player putting together some authentic background music. Their historic building is also a nice feature for visitors as they are located in the what was once the oldest train station depot in Texas. Plus they have a beautiful outdoor patio area that is ideal during prime weather. There aren’t many Italian restaurants in town that compares to Carmelo’s authentic Sicilian dining experience. Prices range in the $20 to $30 per plate and they cater well to large parties and romantic couples alike.
